Questions?

What do I need to use Evident?

You need OpenCode (or Claude Code) and either a machine to run it on, or a GitHub account. Evident makes your OpenCode agent reachable from Slack and the web — we don't run compute.

What is the GitHub Actions runner?

GitHub Actions gives you free CI compute. The GitHub Actions runner lets OpenCode run in that free CI environment — no laptop or server required. Your agent can make code changes and commit them directly to your repo, even when your machine is off.

What is message queuing?

With message queuing (Pro), messages sent while OpenCode is offline are held in a queue and delivered the moment it comes back online. On the Free plan, messages sent while offline are dropped. Queuing is what makes your agent truly async — it works even when you're not watching.

Why are Slack and message queuing paid features?

They're both about making OpenCode reachable even when not actively running. Message queuing + Slack together are the "always-on, anywhere" experience. Maintaining the Slack App integration — keeping it approved, handling OAuth, routing messages reliably — also takes real ongoing work.

Are there usage limits?

No. Send as many messages as you want. There are no message limits, no token limits, no overage fees. You run the compute; we just connect OpenCode to where you work.

Can I use the free tier forever?

Yes. The Free tier is not a trial. You get OpenCode on the web with the local runner and GitHub Actions — forever, at no cost. The paid features are Slack and message queuing.

What is the Teams plan?

Teams is for organisations with more than 10 members or custom requirements. There's no fixed price — reach out to contact@evident.run and we'll sort out the right setup.
