Message your agent from your phone

Reach your AI agent from anywhere — just send a WhatsApp message.

Setup

1. Connect WhatsApp

Go to your channel settings and click "Add WhatsApp".

2. Scan the QR code

Open WhatsApp on your phone, go to Settings → Linked Devices → Link a Device, and scan the QR code shown.

3. Select your agent

Choose which agent should receive your WhatsApp messages.

4. Start messaging

Send a message to the Evident WhatsApp number. Your agent will respond!

How it works

  1. You send a WhatsApp message to Evident
  2. The message is received by our WhatsApp integration
  3. We forward it to your local OpenCode through the tunnel
  4. OpenCode processes and responds
  5. The response appears in WhatsApp

Troubleshooting

Agent not responding?

  • Check that your tunnel is running (npx evident connect)
  • Make sure OpenCode is running locally
  • Check the web UI to see if the message was received

Connection expired?

WhatsApp connections can expire. Go to channel settings and reconnect if needed.
